  Policies & Cancellations

Karla & Co salon offers the best in lash extension services with Gabby. We appreciate that we are your choice for eyelash extensions.

Karla & Co offers an appointment only basis; we are setting aside time specifically for you when you book an appointment.

 A credit card will be required by all guests to secure appointments; by agreeing to our booking/cancellation policy, you authorize Karla & Co to charge your credit card on file per cancellation policy. Any gift certificates being used for this service will be applied to this cancellation charge BEFORE being applied to your credit card on file. Refusal to provide credit card information at time of booking equates to refusal of service.

Keep in mind that fees are applicable because that time slot is now open and that spot could have been filled with another client under different circumstances.

A minimum 24 BUSINESS hours notice must be given to reschedule or cancel appointments. Not showing for your scheduled appointment or not giving 24 hrs notice will result in a non-refundable cancellation fee of 50% of the service charge.

Please, be considerate of other clients' scheduled appointments and arrive on time or your appointment may be shortened or rescheduled, incurring the full service charge. If you are later than 15 minutes for your appointment, Karla & Co reserves the right to reschedule the appointment, and a non-refundable 50% service fee will be charged to the card on file.

*As a courtesy to our clients, Karla & Co offers appointment reminders through text, and/or phone call (calls upon request). We will collect your contact info at the time of booking your appointment and on your client intake form with your permission.

Karla & Co will send you a confirmation reminder of your appointment 24 hrs prior to your appointment. It is ultimately your responsibility to remember your scheduled appointments.  IF you NO SHOW your appointment, Karla & Co will charge a non-refundable no-show fee of 50% of service, and future appointments may need to be prepaid at the discretion of Karla & Co.

NO CHILDREN, PLEASE:

While we love children, we respectfully request NO children under 13 while you are receiving service...This is to ensure that your lash artist can then concentrate 100% on you and your treatment. It is against health and safety obligations to have children in the salon unsupervised. If you arrive with your children without prior discussion with management or with the owner your treatment may be refused with non-refundable half cost owing. We thank you for your consideration, co-operation and understanding.

Appointments:

All appointments are held on an appointment only basis. *We charge a specific service fee for the allotted time and service. How full your lashes will look at the end of your appointment will be greatly affected by how many lash extensions you have remaining when you arrive for your appointment, and how many natural lashes you have. Please, keep this in mind when determining how long to wait to schedule your refills, as we encourage all lash clients to return every 2-3 weeks (sometimes sooner depending on how fast your natural lashes grow and how well you maintain them in between fills)

*If you have been a rough on your lashes in between fills and have lost more than normal, additional time may be needed at an ADDITIONAL COST.  Please, contact Gabby at Karla & Co at least 24 business hours prior to your appointment, if this is the case, to allow adjustment of time.

If you are a new client who currently has eyelash extensions applied by another facility, we will require a consultation before scheduling a lash fill. Cost and time will be determined when you arrive. Due to liability reasons, we normally do not fill lash extensions applied by another facility unless they meet Karla & Co standard of quality. Lash Fills CAN NOT be scheduled online. Please pre-book all your future appointments BEFORE leaving your appointment to avoid the unfortunate event of not being able to get in for your fill appointments. Being on time and having clean lashes ensures you get the maximum time for lash application, every minute counts with eyelash applications. Unfortunately, additional time cannot be given to clients who arrive late to their appointment or arrive with dirty lashes (i.e.: liquid eyeliner, mascara, goopy/sleepy eyes). Arriving on time for your lash appointments is important to ensure your treatment time is not cut down, as we need to stay on time. Do not drink coffee, tea or caffeine-based products before arriving for your lash appointment; this will make your eyes fluttery, you will be fidgety, and you’ll need to use the restroom repeatedly.

Arriving to your appointment:

Please arrive with 10 minutes to spare for your appointment. This allows for you to start to unwind, relax, and visit the restroom. Arriving late (less than 15 minutes) to appointments requires your lash artist to shorten your appointment time, so clients following you are not held up. Full non-refundable fees will still be applicable; therefore, it really is in your best interest & comfort to be on time.  Unfortunately, additional time cannot be given to clients who arrive late to their appointment.

Mobile Phones:

Karla & Co requests that all mobile phones are switched off or to silent whilst you visit. We want your time to be relaxing, away from your busy day, and to not interfere with your therapist or other clients. We appreciate your co-operation and understanding.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Any reactions to eyelash extensions is not foreseeable by Karla & Co skilled & trained staff (or even by you). All care is taken to ensure your safety. We will go over your intake form with you and any contraindications, such as allergies. No refunds will be issued for any allergic reactions; however, Karla & Co will offer a Free Lash Removal should this unfortunate event occur. We kindly ask that you contact Gabby at Karla & Co immediately if you become aware of any type of irritation, so we may assist you as quickly as possible.
